What You’ll Be Doing in This Role
The artisan sandwich maker and deli cook is responsible for creating our signature sandwiches with high quality fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation in a timely manner. This position will also be responsible for roasting chicken, cooking bacon, and prepping ingredients needed to make our signature sandwiches and soups, as well as making our popular chicken salad, cheddar pecan spread, smoked salmon spread, hummus, and more!

What Does The Position Pay?
$8 - $14/hour; Starting pay will vary depending on prior experience and skills, and other factors. We are happy to discuss this with you in person to determine a wage that works for both of us.
What Are the Hours?
We are currently looking to fill the shift time of 8am - 2pm Monday through Saturday with some holidays expected. Additional hours available for catering and special events.
What Are the Physical Requirements?
Must be able to move up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to do repetitive motions and have developed fine motor skills using your hands and fingers.
What Are the Performance Expectations?
Prepares food according to our recipes – accurately and under pressure.
Arrive on time for all shifts, meetings, and events.
Ensure all food meets quality and presentation standards.
Maintain a tidy, clean, and sanitary work station.
Effectively communicates and maintains excellent relationships with all staff at NPC.
Complete training within the agreed upon timeframe and continue to live the NPC Guiding Principles.
Follow daily procedural checklists.
Track sandwich and shareable station inventory.
Other Functions?
Attends weekly meetings and tastings
Participate in other events, catering, and projects as needed.
